Frei wie ein Vogel
Ich bin nun über 70, habe viel Gutes, auch sehr viel Schlechtes erleben müssen.
Wem erging das nicht so in seinem Leben?
Was aber bleibt ist der Wunsch, Frei wie ein Vogel zu sein.
Freiheit ist wohl neben der Gesundheit und der Liebe, das beste Gut im Leben.
Dieses Stück habe ich für alle friedliebenden Menschen komponiert.
I am now over 70, and have experienced a lot of good things, as well as a lot of bad things.
Who hasn’t experienced this in their life?
But what remains is the desire to be free like a bird.
Freedom, along with health and love, is probably the best thing in life.
I composed this piece for all peace–loving people.
